Demos 2012

We are excited to announce our 2012 demo schedule:

9 February 2012 - Wet Layup Molding, We'll discuss molds and lay up a 12' dinghy

8 March 2012- Vacuum Bagging Techniques, by far our most popular demo, Wet-layup vacuum bagging, veneering, and resin infusion.

12 April 2012- Stitch and Glue Boatbuilding, hands on, come make a boat!

10 May 2012 - Surfboards & Paddleboards, Board building and repair.

14 June 2012-Speaker Boxes

12 July 2012 - Mold making

6-9 September 2012 - Come see us at Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend and take one of the boats or paddleboards out for a spin.

11 October 2012 - Vacuum Bagging Demo

8 November 2012 - Stitch and Glue Boat Building

13 December 2012 - Surfboards

Demos are at our location 11824 Watertank Rd, Burlington WA 98233, from 6-8 pm and refreshments are provided. Although highly unlikely we may change the schedule if necessary so please call ahead 509-493-3464 to double check the demo you would like to attend.

Paddleboard Building Demo This Thursday Night

You are invited to a Board Building Demonstration/Seminar at our facility this Thursday night (Feb 18th) from 6-8pm.

We will be discussing and demonstrating:

• Fin Systems, installation and locating fins. We will show FCS, Futures, Probox, and Longboard box fin installation techniques.


• Graphics and Logos


• Non-Skid Options


• Shaping


• Glassing

At 7pm we will have a glassing demo where we do a multi-color lamination.

We will also have on hand our wood kit boards, including the Mahi-Mahi standup paddleboard, the 18' Stinger Laydown paddleboard, and Frame kits from Wood Surfboard Supply.

This is a great opportunity to come out and get your board building questions answered as well as seeing how it's done.

I have gotten a lot of requests from customers that won't be able to make it to video this and put it up on the website. We intend to do so.
