Quick and Dirty Boat Building Contest - Anacortes Water Front Festival

We will be competing in the Quick and Dirty Boat Building contest at the Anacortes Waterfront Festival in Anacortes WA on May 15th.

We get:

• 4 quarter inch thick sheets of plywood
• 6- 2x4 studs
• 2 tubes of quick dry caulk
• 100 #8 screws
• 50 zip ties
• 6 hours to build
• up to $20 in other items
• a mystery material
• a 10' x 20' working space

We've got some ideas we've been throwing around, everything from a scow type box to a rowing dory. So come on down and check out the fun while we get rolling on our boat!

The boat building starts at 9 am and the race is at 4pm.
